Welcome to the stunning world of the Cuillin Hills and all they have to offer the traveller. The accommodation is situated in the heart of the red and black Cuillin and is close to Portree and the Skye Bridge, a perfect base for exploring the island.

You have a choice of Sligachan Lodge, a substantially large house with six bedrooms, and two smaller cottages Marsco and Glamaig both with 4 bedrooms in each.

Sligachan Lodge

Sligachan Lodge is situated in an amazing position overlooking the black and red Cuillin, ideal for hillwalking and climbing it is also a great location for seeing the rest of the island. For lovers of the great outdoors, whether a couple of families holidaying together or a hillwalking/climbing club, this house has it all.

Sleeping 14 there are six bedrooms,a family room (enuite) on the ground floor plus a bunk bedroom. There are a further four bedrooms upstairs comprising of three twins, with a shared bathroom, and one doube ensuite bedroom. A special stair leads up from a large kitchen to the dining area/multi-purpose room. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cosy sitting room with open fire. Fuel for the fire, central heating, bed linen and television is provided.

The Skye Bridge is 1/2 hour away and Portree, the islands capital, is a 10 minute drive here you will find plenty of good restaurants and shops. Closer by is the famous Sligachan Hotel, a five minute stroll across the old bridge, and serves food and beverages, including beer from its very own brewery.

Marsco Cottage Glamaig Cottage

Tucked away within the grounds of Sligachan Self Catering accommodation Marsco and Glamaig is a walkers and climbers ideal getaway. Situated on the start of some of the paths into the Cuillins your walk start as soon as you leave your door. Centrally located, excursions to the Quirang, sleat and the rest of the Isle of Skye are within easy reach.

Both Cottages sleeping six one the ground floor there is one double one twin and one bathroom, in the loft (access by a ladder) there are a further two single bedrooms.
